THOUGHTS ON THE FIRST 125 EPISODES
Here we are - 125 episodes and 22 months into this project.
We can’t do it without YOU, the listener.
You generously give us your attention, so we give you all the knowledge we have about Canada’s divorce and family law system.
Some thoughts 125 episodes in.
ListenNotes.com ranks us as a top 5% global podcast for popularity and listenership. Kinda cool. But we’re only just starting. To the moon.
If you haven’t subscribed to the podcast on iTunes or Spotify, please do. It helps us grow, and helps you stay on track with your divorce.
Questions power the podcast. Many of you have kindly, and bravely, sent your family law questions to our email - lawyerstalkingaboutdivorce@gmail.com or to our voice message machine - speakpipe.com/divorcedanddone .
Keep sending questions! Don’t be shy.
Please tell a friend, co-worker, or family member to listen and subscribe.
Lots of you have reached out, stating Divorced & Done has helped you move through your divorce case more efficiently, or just provided you a sense of hope. Many moons ago, we (Rob and Darren), started law school as scared young law students, eating soggy sub sandwiches and drinking $1 McDonalds coffee in a dingy student dining hall at the University of Calgary. We had no idea where life would take us - just trying to make it through law school without burning out. All these years later, we can’t believe that all of you have joined us on a national podcast that’s had such a positive impact on so many.
We intend to continue putting out at least one episode a week (or so). Normally we record once per week and complete back-to-back recordings. Sometimes we do get busy and it’s not always possible to put out this much content. But, we love you, so we’re trying our best to put out as many episodes as we can.
VERY COOL GUESTS
Big thanks to Charmaine Panko, KC, for joining us a few weeks back to discuss all things collaborative law. She’s such a fun, engaging, person. We can’t wait to have her back on soon!
Keep your eyes (ears?) open for some great new guest episodes coming out soon.
We sat down with Leneigh Bosdet from Pushor Mitchel LLP in Kelowna, BC to discuss her work with a unique Okanagan collaborative law group. She was a pleasure to have on the show, and it was incredibly valuable to hear about the collaborative law process from her perceptive.
We had a visit with Toronto real estate agent extraordinaire, James In The City. He is a real estate powerhouse in the Toronto market, and an absolute social media beast. He brought big energy and great tips for those folks looking at buying or selling as part of their divorce process.
LEAVE US A REVIEW
Please take a moment to leave us a review on iTunes or Spotify next time you’re there. It would mean the world to us!!!
WHAT ELSE IS GOOD?
New music. That’s what’s good. On Darren’s playlist this week, Kid Bloom’s single “walk with me” - find it on Spotify here.
